I still have mixed feelings about the film itself, but I just adore these two, and this clip is delicious.
Dakota Fanning may step into Dorothy’s shoes for new Wizard of Oz

That is not good. Sequels, boo. Dakota Fanning? What the hell. And, darker and more action packed? The flying blue monkey things still give me the creeps thanks.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
A film by Terry Gilliam starring Johnny Depp, Heath Ledger, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell. Lily Cole is also cast as an etheral looking damsel in distress.
Ledger passed away before completion of the film, this being his very last.
Terry Gilliam directed the film incarnation of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, just another reason why I can’t wait to see it.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is due for release in New Zealand on the 29th of October.

Definitely one of my very favorite movies. It’s so heartwarming and when I first saw it in the cinema the whole audience was in hysterics. I think I cried a bit at the awesomeness.
This quote makes me feel better with it’s gratuitous use of the word fuck. It’s just so definitive, I love it. The character in the film says these lines with such conviction too.
Alice in Wonderland is one of those things I watched as a child which scared the hell out of me.
The oysters, the dog/broom who brushes away the path, the freaky everything.
It’s been years since I’ve watched the film, but even this clip reminds me why I can’t even think about parts of that movie without a slight panic.
I love the idea though, perhaps reading the book woudn’t cause such trauma.
