I really like this She & Him poster by Jason Munn.

It’s available for the buying too…

I bought one of these beautiful Aeon World Travel Journals for a close friend for her birthday. She and her partner are off on a traveling adventure this year, and this journal was the perfect gift.

Nice leather, not too heavy. Cream-white acid free pages of a nice stock for writing - not sure what paper weight. Includes 80 pages worth of full colour maps for places all over the world. Chose this one over the Moleskine travel journals as it’s worldwide rather than city specific.

You can buy them online here. I bought one from Passion for Paper in Parnell, would love one when I’m ready to fly away :)

Beautiful clock-hand necklaces from Brevity. I love the little gear accent.

Got a scroll mouse and a penchant for Alice in Wonderland? This game’s for you.

Holy goodness, it’s lovely!

Jessica Hische is at it again. Pretty pretty pretty - invoice for day ruining is now available to buy from her store.

My Top 5 Artists (Week Ending 2010-1-31)

This would be incredible. Coachella in California this year, so many bands I love in the lineup. Pleasantly surprised to see The Middle East on there.

Will have to make do with Laneway Festival tomorrow instead, still gutted that The Middle East are playing only the Australian shows.

I’m procrastinating. Found some nice old pictures on my external hard drive, I’m glad I’ve kept every single photo. Uploaded a bunch to Flickr.

Pictures I thought were terrible back then, actually have turned out to be quite awesome after a bit of time. I guess now the memory has faded the pictures help to bring it back.

This particular one was snapped at an MTV PR party late 2008, it’s Sheena and Teva who I hadn’t known very long, but who I still think are fantastic.

The Dodos on Letterman 08/01/10 playing “Fables” from 2009 album, Time To Die.

This clip has nothing on the live performance, I’m tempted to drive an hour to see their last NZ show tonight.

Aya Kato’s work is gorgeous. I love the flowing lines and intricate detail, the bold shapes contrasted with delicate shades and delicious colour palettes.

Observing any one point in some of her pieces is difficult because there is so much more to see, and each element is woven into another.

This artwork was created for a Windows XP promotion in 2005.
